Need to discuss a grant, paper, visual abstract, reviewer comments, or challenging collaboration? Our Scientific Consulting sessions connect you with unbiased, seasoned experts—former journal editors, grant reviewers, writers, and illustrators—for personalized, actionable guidance that moves your work forward with clarity and confidence.
What We Offer
Private 1:1 Zoom sessions with experienced editors, writers, or illustrators support a wide range of needs—from manuscripts and grant proposals to fellowships, reviewer responses, resubmissions, research storytelling, elevator pitches, talks, figure and slide design, abstracts, letters of intent, cover letters, visual summaries, and authorship or collaboration challenges.
Sessions focus on high-level strategy, feedback, and guidance. Ideal for scientists preparing submissions, addressing rejections or revisions, or navigating communication and team dynamics. Each session includes:
- 1–2 hours of offline review of your materials
- 30-minute live Zoom consultation
- Targeted, strategic feedback based on your goals
- Expert coaching in writing, framing, visuals, or professional challenges
How It Works
- Identify 2-3 consultants that fit your needs.
- Fill out the submission form. Please note your preferred consultants in the “additional comments” and upload relevant documents. We will try to accommodate your selection, but consultants are assigned based on availability and fit.
- Your assigned consultant will contact you and schedule a time to chat.
- We aim to schedule your Zoom call within 3-5 business days after submission.
